“Pungent and powerful opening of intense tropical and slightly grassy fruit. It’s a good indicator to the wine that follows. All deep and flavoursome fruit on a fresh and zippy, slightly minerally palate. Crisp fine acid to finish. Right on the money.”
93 Points – Forester Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
“This is a high-class, serious cabernet sauvignon. Masses of powerful fruit are supported by some substantial oak treatment, yet this is well managed and well weighted. Dusty notes of black olive and riper, richer blackcurrant on the nose. The palate builds towards a very long finish supported by sinewy tannins and fine grained savoury oak.”

“Highly perfumed aromas of leafy blackcurrant and cedary oak with a slice or two of rich fruitcake. The palate is soft, supple and so generous with its rich dark fruit flavours. The tannins add a structural dimension and the oak brings some nice toasty influences to bear. Lovely wine.”

“Rather appealing medium-bodied shiraz displaying some typical regional characters. Loads of spices with a decent sprinkle of black pepper over the ripe plum characters. Soft and generous palate with supple ripe tannins and a little edge of savoury oak. It comes together rather well as a shorter-term drinking wine”
